In this case we needed to quickly and effectively explain the mechanism of modern robotic surgery and how the surgeon controls the robotic instruments remotely while seated at a control console.Utilizing animation, we could show how the surgeon manipulates the hand controls of the console and how this results in movement of the instrument arms of the robot.
