This exhibit shows the animation of blood flowing through the heart at 60 beats per minutes (BPM). Deoxygenated blood enters into the right atrium of the heart from the body and into the right ventricle. It is then pushed into the pulmonary arteries of the lungs to pick up oxygen and enters back into the heart through the left atrium. The oxygenated blood then travels into the left ventricle where it is pumped out to the rest of the body through the aorta.
