Hysteroscopy - Polypectomy Procedure - Perforation of Uterine Wall
Animation of a polypectomy procedure in which a uterine polyp is removed. A weighted speculum is inserted into the vagina and tenaculum forceps grasp the anterior lip of the cervix to straighten the entry and stabilize the cervix for dilating. Then, Hagar dilators are used to dilate the cervix and the hysteroscope is inserted into the uterine cavity. The uterine polyp is visualized and removed with forceps.
