This exhibit displays an open hysterectomy procedure to remove the uterus. A Pfannenstiel incision is used to give access to the uterus where the round ligaments are transected and suture ligated. Next, the bladder is separated from the uterus and the broad ligament is cut to expose the utero/ovarian ligament.
