Pre-operative Hip Deformities with Surgical Hip Replacement
The anterior view of the hip with deformities in the pre-operative and post-operative conditions. The pre-operative condition highlights osteoarthritis with coxa valga in which the angle of the femoral shaft to the femoral head is greater than 135 degrees. The post-operative condition shows the normal angle of inclination restored (between 120 and 135 degrees) by the hip hardware.
