This exhibit displays an AP view of the abdomen of a teen male. An opaque overlay shows the normal bowels within a transparent overlay of the bony pelvic structures. The small intestines are color coded to highlight from the rest of the abdomen. A vertical graphic bar is displayed along the right side of the exhibit demonstrating the average length of small intestines. An additional bar is displayed alongside proportional to the amount of bowel resected.
