Shoulder Dystocia During Deliver

This animation shows the sagittal view of a female during delivery with a shoulder dystocia complication in which the fetus' left anterior shoulder becomes lodged behind the mother's pubic symphysis. Once, shoulder dystocia is recognized, the mother is placed in McRoberts position. The medical staff then apply suprapubic pressure and use Woods corkscrew maneuver to deliver the baby.
