This exhibit shows the anterior comparison between the normal anatomy versus and pre-operative condition of the thorax and subclavian arteries. The normal anatomy displays the pleura, aorta, lungs, heart, clavicle, subclavian artery, and 1st rib. The pre-operative condition displays the 1st rib previously resected and a large mass of vascularized adhesions attached to the subclavian artery and apex of the left lung.
