Black Lung from Defective American Optical Respirator
3d animation of a worker in a coal mine. Clouds of coal dust particles fill the mine. Particles pass
through the defective seal around the face and through the filter of the mask and enter the airway. Coal particles flow through the nose, down to the trachea into the bronchi and bronchioles of the lungs. Overtime coal particles become trapped in the avleoli air sacs leading to a gradual growth of particulate deposits leading to black lung.
