The water from a leak pours into the drop out box. The water and heavier particles form a metal crush that insulates the heat. The employee takes a tractor to clean out the built up metal dust. After breaking through the metal ash crust in the drop out box a steam explosion occurs, leading to a burn injury. A hot, ash-like substance known as electric arc furnace steel dust, was poured on him.
